Hangin’ With The Doors
After their whirlwind tour of the network TV shows, Ray, Robby and Ian record “Hangin’ with The Doors” on VH1 Classic. On this show they are interviewed by Lynn Hoffman who hits on a lot of the topics people were asking about. They talk about why they are touring after all these years, what it’s like to experience their new concerts, plus they address some of the misconceptions people might have. Sandwiched between the six interview segments are “Unplugged” type performances of “The Crystal Ship” and “Love Me Two Times”. For the performances, Robby plays an acoustic guitar while Ray plays a Fender Rhodes piano. Providing hand percussion on “Love Me Two Times” is D21C drummer Ty Dennis.
